Chief of Army staff,Lt. Gen Buratai Tukur has order on 30, Oct 2017 for the redeployment of more military personnel's into Boko Haram affected regions to flush out the remaining Boko Haram members.
Speaking while addressing troops who participated in the recent military exercise tagged Crocodile Smile II in Igwuruta, Ikwerre LGA River state, Buratai re deployed the troops to Lake Chad In order to fluh out Boko haram.
According to Buratai, he said that the Nigeria Army which remain the Pride of the nation are dedicated in making sure that Boko Haram will be a history in Nigeria.
He stated: “I want to assure you that most of the troops that excelled in the operations across the (Niger Delta) region would be redeployed.
“The troops would be redeployed especially within the Lake Chad waters to flush out remnants of Boko Haram terrorists that are within the Lake Chad islands and other areas.
“Boko Haram remnants which are virtually within the border areas of our neighboring countries would have to be properly identified and flushed out in a joint effort.
“This is a task that we must ensure is accomplished.”
Buratai expressed optimism that the redeployment of troops would complement efforts of security outfits including the Multinational Joint Task Force to flush out insurgents from the area.

Buratai noted that the success the Military has been achieving was as a result of the President Buhari's support in combating insurgency.
Furthermore, it WAS previously reported that the Boko haram leader,Abubakar Shekau has more to another location due to the massive onslaught the Army did in Sambisa forest.
