Nigeria President, Muhammed Buhari has vowed to appoint someone who will be in charge if the forfeiture of the assets belonging to the Indigenous people of Biafra locally and internationally after days of declaring the group a terrorist organization.
According to a source in the Federal Ministry of Justice told the Punch in 25, Monday, September 2017 that the president is expected to appoint an administrator who would handle the forfeiture of properties belonging to the IPOB such as houses, bank account and many other things to the federal government.
According to the source, whose name was not being mention said that the government would no longer require any court order to carry out its mission since the group has been declared a terrorist organisation.
However, The federal government of Nigeria has documented the order of the Federal High Court which declared the IPOB a terrorist group and has begun to notify the international bodies, banks and Nigeria embassies to stop relating with the people of the indigenous people of Biafra.
The document obtained by the federal government from the court with the heading Terrorism (prevention) (proscription order) Notice, 2017. Notify the general public of the proscription of the indigenous people of Biafra and warns that nobody or organization should in anyway relate with the IPOB and if they do, they should note that they have violated the provisional law and are liable to be published in accordance with the Terrorism (Prevention) Act, 2011 as amended in 2013.

The Document read in part:
"Notice is Herby given by the order of the Federal High Court, Abuja in suit no. FHC/ABJ/CS/871/2017. Dated September 20, 2017. As per scheduled to this notice, the activities of the Indigenous people of Biafra are declared a terrorist and illegal in any part of Nigeria, especially the southeast and South-south region of Nigeria as prescribed, pursuant to section 2 of the terrorism (prevention) Act, 2011 (as amended)
" Consequently, the general public is hereby advised and warned that any person or group of persons participating in any activities involving or concerning the prosecution of the collective intention or otherwise if the said group will be violating the provision of the terrorism (prevention) Act, 2011 (as amended) and is liable for prosecution.
"This notice shall be cited as the Terrorism (prevention ) (prescription order) notice, 2017".
However, the source said that whichever institute or international bodies which will violate this order shall be termed an enemy to the Nigeria government.

Another source who claims anonymity also said:
" With the gazatte done, the central Authority unit of the Federal Ministry of justice shall notify banks within Nigeria and outside the country to cease associating with the Indigenous people of Biafra directly or indirectly, Foreign Ministries operating in Nigeria and Nigeria embassies will also be notified''.
