Hafsat Mohammed, a housewife in Minna, Niger State has lamented over the inability of her husband to feed and carter for the family since after their wedding, the housewife also pleaded with the Sharia court in Minna to dissolve their marriage since her husband is unable to carry out his family duties.
Hasfast narrated to the court that instead of her husband to spend his money on the family, he rather use it to buy intoxicants.

''My husband does not provide food in our house instead any little money that comes across him he would use him on things that will intoxicate him''.
''The hardship he has subjected me to is too much on me and I can not bear it anymore.
''That is why I am pleading with this honourable court to help me out of this hardship my husband has subjected me to by ending the marriage''. Hafsat narrated.
However, Alhaji Gimba denied the allegation of his wife by saying that he has been doing everything possible to ensure that he carter for the needs of his wife.
He maintained that no matter what he still loved his wife and would not want them to divorce each other.

The JUdge, Alhaji Ahmed Bima, after listening to both correspondents he advised the couple to go and settle their differences with understanding and patience.
Bima adjourned the case to October 9, 2017, in order to allow them to settle their differences.
