Sadiq Abubakar, the present chief of Airforce Staff on Tuesday 22, August 2017 has warn every citizen of Nigeria to stop using social media such as Facebook, twitter and the rest of them in promoting hate speech and inaccurate information.
The air Marshall passed the information during a workshop on Information Management for Public relations officers in Nigeria Airforce in Abuja Federal Capital of Nigeria.

Mr Sadiq Abubakar speaking on Channel Tv:
Mr. Sadiq noted that, if the Nigeria citizens continue promoting hate speeches on socia media, it will affect the growth of Nation.
According to him: "We the Nigerians don't know the harm we are causing to our nation by spreading false information or hate speeches through social media.
"Spreading such information through social media goes a long way to cause more harm to our nation. therefore, I hereby implore all the stakeholders of all the social medias to focus on how the medias are been used to inform and educate and also to entertain as originally intended for."
However, Mr. Sadiq gave this information in support to what President Buhari said during his Monday live broadcast. Mr. President on Monday said that his administration will not in any form support or tolerate agitational movement and hate speeches that threating the unity of Nigeria for it is not negotiable.
The Coalition of Northern Group has demanded that the Igbos in their region to vacate before 1 of October 2017. likewise, the indigenous people of Biafra, and the Movement for Actualization of A Sovereign State of Biafra has been constantly agitating for Biafra freedom.
