However, the Igalas in the state under the canopy of 'Igala consultative forum' has condemned the action of the state governor by declaring a public holiday in a day which everyone knows that is a very busy day in the state.

The chairman of the forum, Mr. Sam Ugbede has expressed his surprise at the action of the state governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello.

According to Ugbede.

"President Buhari ill health gave all of us a great concern, including all the various tribes and religion in Nigeria. We are very happy and thankful to God Almighty for answering our prayers by granting our president quick recovery.

" We are surprised at the decision of the governor by declaring a busy day as a public holiday for no concrete reason.

"Buhari came back on Saturday which was a resting day in the Nigeria calendar, but why extending it to a working day?.

" This decision alone can affect the economy of the state, and can also lead to loss of life for those who are sick and needs urgent medical attention on that day.

"President Buhari who was on medical attention for over 103 days came back recently, likewise the state has been lacking behind due to the series of public holiday the state has been observing since Buhari traveled out.

" since the beginning of Yahaya administration, the state has not witnessed any tangible success.

"Presently, the state education sector has dwindled to the lowest level, civil servant are now at disarray, the state economy is obviously paralysing, the public welfare is now at the mercy of God, the state doesn't longer have orderliness and is under the siege of terrorist yet nothing is being done to stop all this.

However, the state government has called on the people of Kogi state to join and celebrate the coming back of the lion of Africa rather than joining in politicising an act of patriotism on the part of the governor.

An investigation by ngnaija.com revealed that the state governor, Yahaya Bello embarked on hospital visitation that very day.

The visitation result to him declaring free medical service to those admitted patients in various medical centers in the state. To this beneficial families, the day was a superb day for them.

The governor said:
"God forbid it that the Nigeria President died in Uk as a result of his illness, many countries and states will declare one week holiday just to mourn the president, but I did declare only one day to celebrate the return of the president people ate angry over it.
