A woman trafficker has been apprehended by the Nigeria Police force in Abuja over alleged kidnapping of teems from Kafancha, Kaduna State.
According to a report by the Sun newspaper, the suspect was arrested alongside four accomplices on their way to were they usually sell the children for N150,000.

Confirming the incident, the Abuja Police command spokesperson, ASP Aliyu Muktar noted that the aspects were arrested on their way to sell the victims.

According to ASP Muktar, he said that several weeks ago, parents from kafancha in Kaduna state has troubled the police over the kidnap of their wards, the police then launched investigations into the case I order to bring the suspect to book.
He stated: “Yes I can confirm to you that we have a woman and four others who were arrested by federal police at a private house in Gwagwalada area for the offence called criminal conspiracy and child trafficking.
"21 children which she could not give account of, were found in her custody.
“The case is now within Kaduna command. Our investigations revealed that the woman has an agent in Kafanchan who sources for the children and sells to her between N150,000 and N200,000.

“Some parents had registered cases of missing children at our office in Kafanchan last weekend, and we commenced investigations which led to this arrest. We urge our people to give us useful information that can help us reduce crime in our society.
“As I speak with you, some parents have come around and they have identified seven of the children. We have the remaining 14 with us here.”
"The remaining 14 children are reportedly undergoing medical examinations."
