- President Buhari is in search for a new inspect general of police

- Buhari has been allegedly worried over the allegations laid on IGP Idris Ibrahim

- A source has noted that the President and other anti corruption bodies are looking into the matter.

President Mohammed Buhari has planed to replace the present Inspector General of Police, Mr Ibrahim Idris.

Information gathered by Ngnaija.com has it that the present move made by Buhari was as a result of the allegations laid on Mr Ibrahim Idris.

According to Independent report, among the allegations was that of corruption.

The media outlet also reported that Idris is also accused of being sectional in the discharge of his national duty.

Not only that, Idris was reported to allow one Barrister, Emmanuel by name to have access to his office day in day out.

However, the allegations has been forwarded to Buhari and other anti corruption agencies such as the EFCC to look critically into it and to penalized him.

According to a source, Independent reports that the EFCC has comenced discreet investigation into the allegations:

“Though the presidency is yet to officially refer the case to us, we are already investigating the allegations based on petitions already with us.”

Meanwhile, the IGP Idris last weekend filled a suit against the senate President Bokola Sarako in the Abuja High Court in order to prevent Saraki from going ahead with their plans against him.

Denying the allegations, Idris said that he is innocent of all the allegations laid on him by lawmaker representing Bauchi Central senatorial district, Isah Misau.
