- He urged southern Governors to look critically into the issue of agitaion.
The Akwa Ibom State governor, Mr Udom Emmanuel has show worry over the agitation for succession by yhe indigenous People Of Biafra i the southern regios.
Since the Nigeria President , Muhammed Buhari entered into power, the quest for successions has increased. He noted.
The Akwa Ibom State governor, who is also the chairman of Southern governor's forum spoked at the meeting held on 8,October 2017 at IMO State government house noted that the increase request for succession has been so worrisome.
He also noted that marginalisation was one of the problems facing the two regions.
“As we begin this deliberation, I urge our governors to look at the challenges that confront our people for considerations
“This forum is concerned with the cacophony of voices that are calling for self determination and we are worried.

“We are also concerned with the issues of justice, fairness and equity in our region.”
Meanwhile, the Nigerian army on Sunday, October 8, reportedly stormed the home of the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi kanu in Abia State.
According to some online report, including a claim by a former minister of aviation, Fani-Kayode, the army carted away some personal belongings of the IPOB leader.
A Facebook user, Prince Kanu Meme, claimed that the soldiers went away with clothes, generators and furniture in their trucks.
