Enugu State: A man was charging his phone at an apprentice shop, a few minutes later he discovered that his phone has got missing, with the anger in his heart he resorted on setting the young apprentice on fire.

According to a source who witnessed the event reported that the man whose phone got missing poured a litre of petrol on the body of the apprentice and lilted it with matches in his pocket. However, the suspect was later identified as Kelechi while the young apprentice as Junior.
When Kelechi was arrested by angry Police, he narrated that Junior left his barbing saloon shop, where he plugged his phone, that what gave the thief the opportunity to steal the phone.
However, Ngnaija.com has gathered that the victim was rescued and rushed to a nearby hospital for proper treatment.

The event has been confirmed by the State Police spokesman, S.P Ebere Amaraizu and said that Mr Kelechi is presently under their net and he shall be brought to book.
