President Muhammad Buhari reveals his conversation with US president during lunch

Nigeria President Muhammad Buhari has revealed to the masses his discussion with the US president in the White house yesterday.

Trump who called most African President for a laugh including the Nigeria president were glad to receive them as they discussed many issues among which include the poor security network in Nigeria.

However, President Buhari has appreciated the call which the US president gave to him while he was in London for medical treatment.

Below is what Buhari said;

" This afternoon in New York  I joined a number of African presidents at a lunch hosted by the US president Donald Trump. We discussed, among other things, America's ongoing support for Nigeria fight against corruption and terrorism.

"I thank president Trump for his goodwill phone call to me early this year, while I was in London, and for fulfilling his promise he made at that time regarding America's supply of arms to Nigeria military to fight against terrorism and corruption like the boko haram.

" Our relationship with the united state is one that Nigeria value so much, and we will continue to count on America's enthusiastic support."

Meanwhile, after the launch with Donald Trump, President Muhammed Buhari meet with the Ghana president Nana Akufo-Ado, on the sideline of the 72nf session of the UN General Assembly in New York.

The broadcast of the conversation between the Nigeria president and Donald Trump was made known o he public by Femi Adesina.
