The traditional leader of Idjerhe kingdom in the Ethiope West LGA of Delta state, King Erhiekevwe 1 and the entire people of the community have placed a curse and libation on criminals carrying out their criminal activities within the community.

However, according to a report by Punchng.com, it was gathered that the placement of curses on the criminal was as a result of the constant criminal and ritual activities which the suspects were going in the secret which had now become an open crime.
The communities that make up idjerhe Kingdom comprises of 42 community and Jesse as the Idjerhe kingdom headquarters. All the indigenes were assembled in the kingdom headquarters to offer Christian and traditional prayers against the criminals and ritualists operating within the Idjerhe kingdom. The prayers were led by the Ovie of idjerhe kingdom.
The Entire people of idjerhe Kingdom who partake in the prayers asked the gods of the land to visit those behind the evil act with strange sickness and diverse calamities, meanwhile, asking those living within the community to come and confess if they are involved in the crime, for it is a taboo for someone residing within the kingdom to be involved I'm such crime.

According to punchng.com has quoted a monarch in the community as confirming the recent killing of a yet-to-be-identified man who was killed and his brain matter removed by unknown ritualist last Monday.
The monarch said that the actions of the entire people of idjerhe Kingdom should not be condemned as it was done to stop the killing of innocent souls and also to warn criminals and ritualists in the community to either repent or leave the idjerhe kingdom as great calamity will soon befall on them.
