The Zamfara State Assistance Commissioner of Police, Mr Emmanuel Adeniyi was reportedly abducted by some unknown gunmen on his way driving through the popular Katsina/Kaduna expressway.

Emmanuel Adeniyi was reported by the New telegraph News to be kidnapped on Wednesday, 27, September 2017 by unknown armed bandits on his way to the state capital.
However, a principal Officer who was attached to the state has also confirmed the incident but did not mention his name for security reasons.

Furthermore, It was previously reported that Three Police officers were abducted by the same unknown gunmen but were released shortly the intervention of the state government.
