Some group of Unidentified gunmen entered into the midst of worshippers during the 5 O'clock mass at St. Phillips Catholic Church in Ozubulu Ekwusigo LGA of Anambra state.

According to News Agency of Nigeria, which reported that the gunmen entered the church, identified one particular man and killed him.. Immediately the incident took place other worshipper began running for their dear life.

The gunmen began to shot at anyone they sighted which led to the death of more than 100 worshippers while others victim sustained a different degree of injury, others gave up the ghost on their way to Nnamdi Azikiwe Teaching Hospital.
