A Yoruba socio-cultural group leader, Mr Ayo Adebanjo during a chat with the Sun newspaper warned every citizen of Nigeria not to try to hinder the Acting President of Nigeria from being the President when the time comes.

Ayo Adebanjo said that Prof. Yemi Osibanjo has been doing his best in handling the affairs of the country since the President Muhammad Buhari travelled to the UK due to an undisclosed illness which since then has not returned to assume his office.

Ayo Adebanjo, the  Chieftain of the Yoruba group, know as Afenefere, has also noted that is anyone or group of persons denied Osibanjo the right to take over the Presidency, then Nigeria will be divided.

"since President Buhari travelled out of the country, Osibanjo has been putting all effort to make sure Nigeria is going well.

"I also hope that no body will try to deny him the opportunity to assume the presidency through unconditional means.

"Osibanjo is acting well and I believe nobody can deny that.

"If anybody should try to deny him the right to Presidency when the time comes up, then Nigeria will divide.

(IPOB) has called on the Nigeria government to first of all arrest Tanko Yakassai and Ango Abdullahi for making threat comments before talking about his re-arrest.
