The people of Ife are grateful for the effort made by all the leaders of the communities which in one way or the other contributed to the Restoration of peace and unity in the land of Ife after a serious dispute which took place on the 20, March 2017.

The crisis which took place on the 20 March 2017 was reported to have claimed the lives of more than 50 individuals, injured more than 90 individuals and render a lot of people homeless and hopeless.

When different security agencies came to the scene of the conflict, the battle became worse as their intervention yielded to no good profit but rather leads to favoritism and arrest of one part of people.

But thanks be to Almighty God who through the traditional rulers and elders such as Oba Enitan Ogunwusi the Ooni of Ife, and the Emir of Kano state, Muhammad Sanusi II who through them Peace was restored to the affected region after a bloody clash.
