A man was caught searching a dead man, stole N500 From the dead man.

- A 25  years of man identified as Musa Isaiah has been dragged to a  magistrate court in Minna Niger state for allege stealing of N500 Naira from a dead man.
- Isiah was charged in accordance with section 287 of the penal code.

The Nigeria police force has apreheneded  a 25 years old man for allege stealing of N500 note from an unidentified dead man during a fatal accident in Minna Niger state.

According to Insp. Gunduma Ibrahim, the inspector of police Minna division, told the magistrate that the convict (Musa Isah) rushed  to a scene where accident took place in the name of going there to rescue the victims with other people, instead of Isah rescuing the victims he went and began searching a dead body and found the sum of N500 Naira and took  it without raising an alarm.

Inspector Gunduma said that Isah was caught on the spot by the policemen that  was around and was taken to the station for investigation before he will be convicted.

When the magistrate of the Minna  magistrate court, Mrs. Marian King  read the charge before Isah, he immediately went to his knees and pleaded for mercy.

Meanwhile, Ngnaija.com learnt that the inspector  urged the court magistrate to sentence Isah in line with section 159 of the criminal procedure code.

Isah was sentenced to three months imprisonment with a fine of N20,000  by the magistrate, Mrs Marian King.
