Boko Haram set Borno on fire again

MILITARY TROOP SUCCESSFULLY REPELLED BOKO HARAM TERRORISTS  IN DAMATURU

              The Nigeria Military troop in Borneo state has succeeded in repealing Boko Haram terrorist who were on a mission to set Goniri community on fire  on the 28, Oct 2017, few weeks they previously lunched attack at the Sasawa community.

Army spokesperson in Damaturu state of 3 Division and tactical Headquarters, col. Kayode Ogunsanya has confirmed the incident and has reassured Nigerians that the Army are presently o top of the matter.


As of the time of filling this report, The Damaturu Division Army spokesman couldn't narrate how the incident happen but only said that the military were successful in repelling the terrorists.

A source who name was withheld for security reasons noted that the terrorists entered into the community through the western flank of the community but were repelled by the military troop.
He said: “ The terrorists came in from the western flank of the village but were repelled by the military troop.



“The military troops had been on serious alert since the attack on Sasawa village last Tuesday, making them battle ready.


“It did not take long when we heard the soldiers chanting victory songs, indicating that they were successful over the insurgents.”

According to News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), it has reported that the Boko Haram terrorist has lunched two attack in Boron state but were only successful in the first attack.
