Mrs. Yetunde Ibukunlayo of Ado-Ekiti has filed a marriage dissolution case on her 8 years old marriage with Mr. Sola Ibukunlayo over the lack of care from the husband.
According to the report, Ngnaija.com has gathered that the wife Mrs. Yetunde seeks the dissolution of her marriage on the ground that the husband always beat her like a slave and even threatened to kill her whenever they had misunderstanding.

Mrs. Yetunde who sells medicine close to where they reside told the president of the court of Ado-Ekiti customary court that her husband always beat her to death whenever the had any slight misunderstanding.

Mrs. Yetunde narrated to the president of the court that "I meet Sola in the year 2006 before the went into marriage, Sola promised to pay my bride price and marry me legally but up till now he has not done that."
Yetunde also narrates that her husband Mr. Sola often course her and beat her whenever she sees him with another woman having extramarital affairs with his former wife who abandoned him for the same thing she (Yetunde) is complaining about years ago.
Yetunde explained further that she has tried all her possible effort to call Sola in order but to no avail. She also said that she has even gone to his parent and family relatives to report to them yet nothing change even after they have spoken to him.
Yetunde a mother of two children said that "In 2013, Sola left I and my children for months, without thinking about how we are faring. I alone took up the responsibility to train my children alone without Sola's help."

Mrs. Yetunde , furthermore, explained to the president of the court that after Sola left the house, next thing he did was to come toy shop and destroyed all my medicines which in turn lead her into a serious debt.
The petitioner (Yetunde) before the president of the customary court cried out saying:
" My husband is a heartless man, he doesn't care about us anymore, He threatened yo kill me and if I don't settle with him. Please, I don't want to die and leave my children to suffer, Please dissolve these marriage ones and for all let everybody go there way."
Mrs. Olayinka, who is the president of the Ado-Ekiti customary court, after listening to the cry of Yetunde, shifted the case till 2, August 2017, for proper investigation.
