Police officer in trouble over shooting of 3 farmers who refused to pay N50 bribe in Ondo

The Nigerian Police in Ondo has apprehended a police inspector over alleged shooting of three farmer who refused to pay the N50 bribe collected from moto cyclist along Amusigbo road .

The farmers were said to be returning from there farm on a motorcycle, when they got to the road block at Amisigbo road, the inspector requested for N50 but the rmers refuse to pay.

Confirming the incident, Mr Femi Joseph, a police image maker said that the inspector is in detention.

According to the police image maker, he said that the inspector didn't shoot at the farmers intentionally, Joseph said that the farmers went and mobilized youths to attack them, in the course of the battle the gun exploded and wounded the farmers.
