The Nigeria Navy Ship in Apapa Lagos has arrested over 67 oil thief. The suspects comprises of foreign citizens who specialized in buying illegal oil from Nigeria.
How've, according to report, they were not only arrested because of buying illegal oil in Nigeria but also because they engaged on other criminal activities on he territorial waters within the base's jurisdiction.
Below is a breakdown of the country the suspect came from

Others were reported to be Nigerians.

The Suspects from Benin Republic were arrested at the verge of buying the illegally-refined oil product from the Nigeria bunkerers.
Items recovered from the suspects include cash in foreign and local currency, fishing boat and the illegal oil.
According to the commander, NNS Beecroft, commodore Maurie Eno, represented by the executive Officer, NNS Beecroft, Captain TajIdeen Oshoba,revealed that his men arrested MV GLENNSTAR ship within the Lagos safe Anchorage area on 5 of July, over suspicion of conveying goods suspected to be illegally refined oil product.
However, the suspects have denied the allegations by the Nigeria Navy. Most claimed that it was we chandeliers.
