Former President of Nigeria, Goodluck Ebele Jonathan in the year 2014 told Nigerians that when she shall step down for another administration to take over, he would be missed by them. He also noted that the reason why he would be missed is that of the total freedom which his administration has given to every citizen of the country.
On Thursday,24 August 2017 he reminded Nigerians what he said before he was elected out and Muhammed Buhari took over power in 2015.

Goodluck reminded the people of his statement through a picture he shares on Facebook. In the Picture, he said:
"I am the most insulted and abused president not only in Nigeria but the world at large, But when I will leave the office for other administrations to take over, you will remember me for one thing which is the freedom you all enjoyed under my administration.
