Killers of the PDP chieftain, Mr Okugbeni, has been arrested by the Delta State Police command.
According to Nigerian Tribune Newspaper, who has it that the names of the arrested suspects are Emmanuel Francis, Ejoke Onome and Junior Dele.

however, it was revealed that the PDP chieftain was killed in his tricycle by the gunmen at about 9 pm in Ughwagba community, Okpe Area of Delta State when he was returning home with a lady suspected to be his wife.
The Murders attacked him with a gun and shot at his chest region several times, thereby abandoning his body in the tricycle and flee away.
Nigeria Tribune also revealed that the death of Okugbeni was unexpected because briefly before his dismissal, the chairman of Okpe Local government visited his executive members on his interest to re-contest for his present position.
However, Nigerian Tribune has quoted a source close to the deceased as saying;
"What we can't confirm is if the attack was as a result of the council chairman visit or as a result of the dispute in the youth leadership that has been in existence for long, but the death of Okugbeni occurred the same day the chairman visited him."
"Also, we believe that some group of people highly placed in authority must be behind the death of Mr Okugbeni, we are calling on the police to investigate thoroughly so as to bring those behind the death of Mr Okugbeni into justice."
The police relation officer, Mr Andrew Aniamaka confirmed the incident by saying that the Police are on top of the matter and three suspects have been arrested in relation to the incident.
The investigation is currently under the care of the homi**Cide section of the state criminal investigation section.
Meanwhile, Ngnaija.com had earlier reported that the notorious kidnapper, popularly known as Evans will soon be brought before the Ikeja High court.
